The Denton Maker Center is proud to be a part of the larger creative community of Denton. In the fast-growing North Texas region, Denton maintains the supportive collaborative spirit of small town. Through mutually beneficial relationships, DMC continues to expand its partnerships and supporters to foster this network.

Norman Roscoe was instrumental in DMC’s first fundraiser, printing our “Come and Make It” shirts. In February 2026, DMC collaborated with another Denton Non-Profit, Friends with Benefits, on their inaugural “Denton READiculous Book Palooza”, by focusing the month’s workshops and activities on book-related themes. UNT CoLab has been a wonderful partner, both by selling work by DMC artists but also helping promote various DMC events throughout the year.

For DMC Members, Voertman’s has graciously extended a 20% discount on art supplies and nearby Denton Yarnworks offers a 10% discount. We continue to work on fostering more connections and membership benefits so more will certainly be added here…
