In this hands-on workshop, we will explore the unique properties of watercolor through a variety of techniques. Activities will include masking and wash methods, as well as texture-making techniques using salt, plastic wrap, isopropyl alcohol, stencils, and other materials.

After creating a collection of colorful watercolor papers, you will have the opportunity to turn your work into finished projects such as a collage, greeting card, bookmark, handbound book, or decorative book cover. This workshop encourages experimentation and creativity! If you have special papers you would like to use in your finished work feel free to bring them, however, additional papers will be provided for your end product.
